As the Director of Capital Projects and Planning at th e University of Denver (DU), Rachel oversees the planning and project execu tion of small to large design and construction projects, as well as a team of architects and project managers. Rachel comes to DU after 7 years as a c apital project manager at the University of Colorado Boulder, working on ov er 240 projects ranging from deferred maintenance to a LEED Platinum certif ied Athletics Complex project. Additionally, she has served as an active du ty officer in the U.S Coast Guard for ten years where she took on numerous roles such as a shipboard engineering officer, area planner, and constructi on manager for military facilities along the east and west coasts.
