Fireside Chats – Growing a Marketing Team & Keeping Them Happy
Friday, November 19, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM MDT
Category: SOCO

Do you wish your marketing team (or you as a marketing team of one!) had more help? Learn from industry veterans how to advocate for expanding your marketing team and how to find and keep the best people. This is the fireside chat to attend if you are wanting best practices for how to develop and structure a growing marketing team.

We’ll cover how to keep the fire burning in your team – no burnout! It's a common challenge for firms in our industry that marketing coordinators face burnout and high rates of turnover. Hear about the real challenges coordinators and proposal managers face that drive them to throw in the towel, and what they need to feel happy and successful in their roles.

If you're a coordinator bogged down with too many proposals and long hours at the office, you'll leave this chat with advice for how to ask for what you need, and offer your firm real value in helping them improving their processes, increasing their win-rate and making your workload more manageable.

Matt Handal
Founder
Help Everybody Every Day

Matt Handal was a marketer submitting boilerplate proposals and materials that were indistinguishable from his competitors'. He had no idea how to convince new clients to buy his firm's services. And worst of all, nobody would listen to him. One day, he stumbled upon some academic research on how people really make decisions. Since then, he’s helped his firm win large assignments they had little shot at, convinced government clients to give his firm sole source contracts, written one of the most popular books about proposal writing, and people even fly him across the country to teach them how to apply Mind Marketing to their business.
