Since expanding to Colorado in 2014, Gorman & Company has delivered (or is under construction) on over 950 affordable and workforce apartment homes in the State. Gorman’s specialty is helping public and non-profit entities realize their vision, using Gorman’s financing and development strategies. Gorman and its affiliated companies, have completed $1.5 billion in development throughout our 35-year history, and have developed over 100 communities across seven states.

Ms. Crangle is active in ULI, a founding member of All in Denver, a certified CCIM, and was recently co-Chair of Blueprint Denver. Free time is spent playing in the mountains with her husband and three young kids.

Sarah Broughton
Principal
Rowland + Broughton

As Principal of Rowland+Broughton, Sarah brings over two decades of experience in the architecture and interior design industry. She is the champion of R+B’s design philosophy and rigorous quality control standards, as well as a leader to her design staff. In addition, she is a highly respected colleague in the design community and among clients.

Sarah leads the studios in participation and management of all phases of the design process, including client relations and proposals, project programming, conceptual design, design development, architecture and interior design, project budgeting, construction documentation and contract administration. Sarah is very active in the Aspen community and has served as Chair of the City of Aspen’s Historic Preservation Commission. Hired to rewrite the Aspen Commercial Design Guidelines, R+B frequently provides feedback to the City of Aspen on land use regulation.

R+B has been the recipient of several City of Aspen Historic Preservation Commission Awards and numerous AIA, ASID and IIDA awards for excellence in design. The team is especially proud to have won AIA Colorado’s 2009 Young Firm of the Year. R+B is also annually recognized for firm achievement on Interior Design magazine’s Top Hospitality Design and Interior Design Giants lists. Sarah was awarded the Defy Ordinary award from the City of Aspen Chamber and the Aspen community. This award recognizes Sarah as a champion of the community and a leader to her colleagues.

Elena Scott
Principal
Norris Design

A landscape architect and planner at Norris Design, Elena Scott’s concepts and vision have enhanced towns and communities throughout Colorado. With a broad range of experience in urban and rural communities with both public and private sector clients, Elena’s ability to communicate the complexities of planning and design make her an effective project champion and client advocate, able to resolve challenges from both the technical perspective and the viewpoint of the community. Elena excels at creating a thoughtful planning framework that results in creative solutions, which are practical to implement. Her deep experience with land planning, entitlements, the approval process and public engagement is key to achieving success.

As the Principal of Norris Design’s mountain region office in Frisco, Colorado, Elena is skilled at facilitating community engagement processes and integrating development into sensitive natural environments. She is experienced in planning and implementation of affordable housing initiatives, infill and redevelopment, downtown revitalization, resort and hospitality and the incorporation of sustainable design practices. Elena is on the High Country Conservation Center Stakeholder Sustainability Code Committee and is the current Chair for the ULI Colorado Resort Entertainment Tourism & Leisure (RETL) Product Council.
