Join us for our Summer 2019 Site Seeing Tour Series — Tour #1!

We’ll be touring a variety of job sites in different stages of construction. You will get a guided tour by the Project Superintendent explaining the construction approach and what makes that project unique, and learn the design intent from the Architect and select Subcontractor Partners. 

Our first tour of the summer will feature the new Aerospace & Engineering Sciences Building at Metropolitan State University of Denver!

Metropolitan State University of Denver’s(MSU Denver) Aerospace and Engineering Sciences Building is the latest new construction project to the AHEC Campus. With Colorado having the second highest number of people employed in aviation and aerospace in the nation, MSU Denver continues to push the limits to provide a top-level program at an affordable cost. The building focuses on 4 main majors including, but not limited to:

• Aerospace Science and Aviation Technology
• Industrial Design
• Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology
• Computer Science and Computer Information Systems

This new 142,000GSF building accommodates a variety of collaborative design and research spaces with similar to NASA’s software. Over 62% of the building is specialized lab space! The building and university is also partnered with major space and technology companies including Lockheed Martin, Hartwig, Inc. and United Airlines. Join Zack Writer of Anderson Mason Dale Architects, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute’s Robert Park, and Ambient Energy’s Clayton Bartczak, for a detailed tour of the special features in the building and Ambient Energy’s soon to be certified WELL space.

* Parking Notice: Parking is available in the 7th Street Garage located on the southeast corner of 7th and Walnut south of the Ambient Energy building. Our parking sponsor, Ambient Energy, will provide a validation ticket upon check-in for event guests requiring parking. Validation tickets from this event will only be accepted at the 7th Street Garage. Please carpool if able.
