Edie Adams has been involved in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry for eight years, and she has been into marketing and business development since 2014. Each day she melds creativity with technical expertise to show the ways that engineering and science can improve our communities, assisting and directing local business development efforts and creating proposal packages to win over new clients and partners. Edie has happily served as the chair of the SMPS Northern Colorado Committee since 2016 and is a member of the Sponsorship Committee for this year’s Southwest Regional Conference in Colorado Springs.

Ben Snow | Director of Economic Health and Housing
City of Greeley  

Ben Snow is an energetic and driven executive with a passion for connecting people, building networks and gaining new knowledge and insights into how people think, how economies behave, and the role each person and organization has in growing the economy and making a positive difference in the community. He currently serves as Director of Economic Health and Housing for the City of Greeley, Colorado, where he actively works to drive economic development and prosperity for residents of Greeley and Northern Colorado.

Ben has over 24 years of experience working with leaders in both the public and private sectors, serving in various capacities of commercial real estate acquisitions, development, investment analysis, project management and market research as well as economic development. During his career, he has had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and interface with multiple communities, both large and small, while completing many successful real estate and community development projects.

Jay Hardy | Partner and President 
Brinkman 

Jay Hardy is a partner and President of Brinkman, a mission-driven real estate development and investment company headquartered in Fort Collins. He has more than 20 years of real estate experience with university, private sector, quasi-government, and public sector parties. He’s held various leadership roles including Executive Director, Vice President-General Manager, and Director of Marketing in several industries.

Jay holds a master’s degree in Sports Administration from University of Northern Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sociology from Colorado State University. He was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper as Chairman the Colorado Workforce Development Council and serves on the BBVA Compass Bank Northern Colorado Advisory Board.

Mike Scholl | Strategic Planner  
City of Loveland 

Mike Scholl is a Strategic Planner for the City of Loveland. Since 2008, he has been working to develop the downtown strategic plan and to help facilitate investment in downtown. Mike has been responsible for bringing over $125 million in new investment into Loveland including the Rialto Theater Center, Gallery Flats, Artspace Lofts, Value Plastics/Nordson Medical, and Sprouts. He is currently working on the Foundry project in Downtown Loveland, which would be a $75million infill project to include housing, commercial and retail.

Sam Garry | Development Manager
Neenan Archistruction 

 Sam Garry, Development Manager with Neenan Archistruction, provides strategic solutions to the development component of design-build projects along the Front Range. To date he has enjoyed working on development-design-build projects including The Plaza at Riverbend in Timnath, Yeti Cycles in Golden, and mixed-use development in Old Town Fort Collins. Previous to Neenan, he worked with Forty-Two property management in Baton Rouge, LA, and in the social enterprise sector in Colombia and Uganda. Sam is an alumnus of the Impact Denver class of Spring 2018 and graduated from the University of Denver cum laude with a B.S. in Finance.

Stacy Miller | Director of Economic Development  
Town of Windsor 

Stacy Miller began working for the Town of Windsor April 2011. She has been involved in economic development for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoys working with companies to supply them with the resources that they can use to operate more efficiently and effectively. Prior to working for the Town of Windsor, she worked for Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) a regional economic development organization that served all of Larimer County. 

Stacy has brought in over $500 million worth of investment to Windsor since 2011. That equates to almost 1.6 million square feet of space being built or acquired in the Town. Those companies will create over 2,300 jobs with an annual payroll of over $132 million. Stacy has handled over 850 prospects since starting the department.

Walt Elish | Business Development Manager
Town of Berthoud 

Walt Elish has been the Town of Berthoud’s Business Development Manager since October 2014. Prior to joining the Town, he led the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation as its President and CEO from 2011 to 2014. Walt has worked at the local, state and regional levels successfully starting and leading public-private economic development organizations and a utility economic development program in Wisconsin and Maine. He began his economic development professional career with the State of Tennessee. Over the years, he also has been active in a number of economic development and civic organizations including the Economic Development Council Colorado, where he sat on the Board of Directors.
